Gold-Date is a smart shidduch platform for the religious, traditional and Haredi community in Israel. We believe a real relationship starts with deep compatibility — outlook, level of observance and shared values — not just age and location. You build a profile that reflects who you are, and you can also talk with Golda, our AI matchmaker, who deepens the introduction and helps find accurate matches. All with respect and privacy, and joining is free.

Why I founded Gold-Date

It took me ten years to meet my wife. Along the way I was offered plenty of matches that were not relevant, just because I’m a man and she’s a woman, so “go on a date”. Matches that had nothing to do with me: not with my outlook, and not with what I was looking for.

So I decided to build a platform that helps people get more accurate suggestions. At Gold-Date, suggestions are chosen first by outlook and level of observance, and by the age range that suits you. Golda, our AI matchmaker, talks with you (in Hebrew) to understand what the profile fields leave out.

What does cyber have to do with dating?

By day I work in cybersecurity. In cyber you have to crack systems and know how to think outside the box. That is what we do in dating too: we think outside the box to bring you suggestions that are more accurate and a better fit.
